to create your claymation production.

Step 1 Ideas! use webbings and brainstorm your ideas, then choose the idea you like best.

Step 2 Rough storey draft, briefly make a rough summary of your idea.

Step 3 Using a storey board sheet, make a detailed storey in chronilogical order. Include colour and details.

Step 4 Once you have finished creating your storeyboard you will make your set. A set is similar to what you would see in your school play. Use a cardboard box, paint and add any prop that might add interest to your set. Remember your set is the background of your claymation. It is whwere your storey takes place.

Step 6 Once you have finished all the above steps you will begin to shoot your claymation in stop motion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_motion Using your storey board, plastercine character, and your set as reference begin to prepare your scenes. Take your digital camera and begin taking pictures. Remember claymation is similar to animation, in that the movement is created by a series of pictures. After each picture you take you must reposition your characters within the set according to the sequence of your storeyboard. These pictures are then taken and down loaded.
